ফলতঃ কেহ যদি খ্রীষ্টে থাকে, তবে নূতন সৃষ্টি হইল; পুরাতন বিষয়গুলি অতীত হইয়াছে, দেখ, সেগুলি নূতন হইয়া উঠিয়াছে।

সুতরাং কেউ যদি খ্রীষ্টের সঙ্গে মিলিত হয়, তবে সে এক নতুন সৃষ্টি হয়ে ওঠে, তার জীবনের পুরানো বিষয়গুলি অতীত হয়ে যায়; দেখ, তার সবই এখন নতুন হয়ে উঠেছে।

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

এই হেতু খ্রীষ্টের নিমিত্ত নানা দুর্ব্বলতা, অপমান, অনাটন, তাড়না, সঙ্কট ঘটিলে আমি প্রীত হই, কেননা যখন আমি দুর্ব্বল, তখনই বলবান্‌।

যখন কোন সঙ্কটের মধ্য দিয়ে যাই তখনও আমি আনন্দ পাই। যখন অন্যরা আমায় নির্যাতন করে তাতে আমি আনন্দ পাই; যখন আমার সমস্যা থাকে তখনও আমি আনন্দ পাই। এইসব আমি খ্রীষ্টের জন্য সহ্য করি, কারণ যখন আমি দুর্বল, তখনই আমি বলবান।

For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
